Steps

Steps are containers for questions and content.

A step will be viewed as one page. One page that may hold one or many questions. In this sense, steps by themselves are containers for questions and do not collect any information.

In the Studio, steps can be easily reordered by dragging and dropping, and can be given their own labels, which are shown to users. You can see the index the step is at in the top-right of the step (see 0 in the picture above).

When a user is going through a live flow the current step index they are at is present in the URL so that they can use the browser's navigation to move between steps within a flow. For instance, the URL https://formsortstuff.formsort.app/flow/all-components/variant/main#1 would indicate that the user is at step index 1; they can press the browser's back button to get to step 0.

Steps have their own settings, logic, styling, and redirect ability.
